INTRODUCTION

Chinese LED backlight industry is getting saturation, the market size dropped from 15% to 14%, in 2014. However, tablets and FPTVs are the major force supports the market growth; the market size from large-size LED to mid-size, to small-size LED backlights market size are 40%, 30%, 25%, respectively.

By the saturation of LED backlight technology matured, the price of LED products drop in recent years. In 2014, IT LED products output was about 500 million products, 450 million out of 500 million are mobile phones, it was a 25% YOY growth. The output of tablets was 68 million, YOY 5.4% grow.
